Rooted Network is launching a new Bible Study series!

 

 

 

Deep Dive is a new series of Bible Study resources that take core theological truths and make them accessible for everyone. Workbooks include four days of personal study, leader notes, and supplemental resources designed for deeper study completed ahead of each group meeting. Each group meeting pairs the week’s devotions with video-teaching and group discussion questions for meaningful conversation. Like all Rooted Network resources, Deep Dive studies provide experiential learning with intentional opportunities for people to step out of their comfort zone and spiritual growth.

We are committed to experiential learning at every stage of the disciple-making journey.

Theology and the Mission of God is an 8-week, group-discipleship experience focused on the study and application of core doctrines of the Christian faith. Video teaching by Eric Geiger and Ed Stetzer provides theological depth with a pastoral heart. Workbooks include 4 days of personal study to be completed in preparation for meaningful conversations in the following group experience.

Weekly sessions cover the following topics:
1. We Love God the Father (Theology)
2. We Love God the Son (Christology)
3. We Love God the Holy Spirit (Pneumatology)
4. We love God’s Word (Revelation/Bibliology)
5. We Love God’s World (Creation/Anthropology)
6. We Love the Gospel of God (Soteriology)
7. We Love the People of God (Ecclesiology)

AUTHORS

Eric Geiger is the Senior Pastor of Mariners Church in Irvine, California. Before moving to Southern California, Eric served as senior vice-president for LifeWay Christian Resources. Eric received his doctorate in leadership and church ministry from Southern Seminary. Eric has authored or co-authored several books including the best selling church leadership book, Simple Church. Eric is married to Kaye, and they have two daughters: Eden and Evie. During his free time, Eric enjoys dating his wife, taking his daughters to the beach, and playing basketball.

Ed Stetzer, Ph.D., is a professor and dean at Wheaton College where he also serves as Executive Director of the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches, trained pastors and church planters on six continents, earned two master’s degrees and two doctorates, and has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He is Regional Director for Lausanne North America, is the editor-in-chief of Outreach Magazine, and is frequently cited in, interviewed by, and writes for news outlets such as USAToday and CNN. He is the Founding Editor of The Gospel Project, a curriculum used by more than 1.7 million individuals each week for bible study. He serves as teaching pastor of at Highpoint Church, with several sites in the Chicago-land area.
