LAUNCH ROOTED

Your church has decided to start cultivating an Acts 2 discipleship culture, and it's time to launch the Rooted experience for the first time.

Every Rooted launch follows the same sequence in order to have a solid 10-week experience that sustains your church long after week 10.

Follow the 4 steps below to prepare and launch the 10-week Rooted experience with excellence.

YOUR LAUNCH PATH

4 Steps to Launch Rooted in Your Church

Experience Rooted with Your Key Leaders

Step 1

Successfully launching a new discipleship strategy requires unity among your staff and key leaders. Walking through the 10-week Rooted experience in a Pilot session provides a hands-on way to promote that kind of unity.

Train Your Team

Step 2

Launching with excellence equals being trained on logistics and strategy of Rooted. Prepare to Launch is a 6-hour webinar where Rooted Network coaches teach and train on the most important topics to a church's first church-wide Rooted session. This event is best experienced as a discipleship team.

Equip Your Group Leaders

Step 3

A key element of the Rooted experience is the group leader being trained and well equipped. Prioritize training your leaders with training resources available from Rooted Network and also purchasing a Rooted Group Kit for each group.

Launch with Support

Step 4

Rooted Network desires to come alongside and partner in ministry with our churches. Our Rooted Network coaches are available at no cost to help Rooted churches implement Rooted and build an intentional, specific, experiential, and sustainable Acts 2 discipleship culture.

FOUR DISCIPLESHIP PRINCIPLES

A healthy church discipleship strategy requires more than curriculum or a program. Healthy discipleship built on four principles, and Rooted is designed around all of them.

INTENTIONAL

Principle 1

Without being intentional, small groups default to whatever's comfortable—at worst, becoming a social or book club. Rooted sets the baseline: discipleship that's rhythmic and experiential. That's the foundation.

SPECIFIC

Principle 2

Context matters. Churches and groups are at different points in their spiritual formation, so no one-size-fits-all plan exists. Discipleship meets people where they are and moves them to the next step.

EXPERIENTIAL

Principle 3

Discipleship is meant to be lived. It is a matter of the head, the heart, and the hands. A solid discipleship strategy creates intentional opportunities to live out what's learned, again and again.

SUSTAINABLE

Principle 4

Every time a church overhauls its discipleship approach, people fall through the cracks. Discipleship is long-term obedience in the same direction. A stable strategy lets systems and best practices pass from one leader to the next.
